Location

Raj Resorts is very conveniently located and is easily accessible. Geographically, we are right in the middle of the 120 Kms long Goan coastline. We are equi-distant from the eastern most, the northern most and the southern most tip of Goa

The International and Domestic Airport in Goa (Dabolim Airport) is only 10 minutes drive from the resort. We provide complementary airport pickup and drop facility.

The Konkan Railway's Madgaon Station is around 22kms from the resort and can be reached in less than half an hour through an express way from Raj Resorts.

Vasco-Da-Gama,is located at about 8 kms eastwards of Bogmalo Beach and is connected by frequent bus service. Taxis are also easily available. A 15 minutes bus ride into down town Vasco-da-gama from Raj Resorts costs less than 10 pence ( Rs 7).

Panjim, the capital city, is about 25 minutes drive from Raj Resorts by a taxi. Frequent public transport is also easily available. The bus takes about 45 minutes to reach Panjim.

Raj Resorts is located opposite the Naval Aviation Museum on Bogmalo Beach Road. The beach front is about 1000 meters / One Kilometer from Raj Resorts.

The Bogmalo Beach road which passes by Raj Resorts takes you to Bogmalo Beach and terminates there. It is a pleasant 10 to 15 minutes down hill walk. Plenty of buses and taxis are also easily available if you don’t like walking. They cost next to nothing and take only 2 minutes to reach the beach from Raj Resorts or vice versa. Most of the tourist attractions and beaches in Goa are within driving distance of Raj Resorts.

Take a taxi for Bogmalo Beach ( near Goa airport) from anywhere in Goa to reach Raj Resorts. Alternately, you could take a Bus to Vasco-da-gama and hop into a local bus to Bogmalo Beach from there. The frequency is every 10 minutes.

The Resort

The resort is built in the Indo - Portugese style. It has been designed on the priciples of 'Vastu Shastra', the ancient science of living in harmony with mother nature.

18 impeccably clean and tastefully furnished double rooms and appartments. Most are with private balconies or terraces.

The rooms on the upper floors offer a nice distant view of the ocean which, as the crow flies, is just a few hundred meters away.

Accommodation

Our Rooms are classified into four categories Viz Deluxe, Premium and Standard & Studio Apartments.

The Standard Rooms are the basic accommodation. These rooms are neat, clean, light and airy. They have ensuite facilities with running hot & cold water, air-condition and Colour TV. Basic but adequate furnishings are provided. These rooms have a queen size double-bed. They admeasure about 175 sq.feet. These rooms are situated on the lower floors of the resort.

The Premium Rooms are very spacious. These rooms are elaborately furnished and have ensuite facilities with running hot & cold water, air-condition, Colour TV with satellite connection, telephone, tea/coffee making facility, refrigerator, toaster, wifi internet etc. These rooms are situated on the first floor . Some of these rooms are approx 350 Sq feet but do not have a balcony , while a few are about 250 sq.feet plus a small balcony. If required, these rooms can easily accommodate an extra bed.

The Deluxe Rooms with about 400 sq feet room area are the most spacious rooms in the property. These rooms have all the frills of the Premium rooms but have a prized place of location in the property. Apart from being well furnished and spacious these rooms have private terraces attached to them which are ideal for catching some sun during the day in all privacy. These terraces make for very pleasant early morning & evening sitouts. Have your breakfast served here in the mornings or enjoy a bottle of wine in the evenings – its just perfect. One can hear the chirping birds, see a lot of interesting flora & fauna or star gaze from these terraces. These terraces also offer a very nice distant view of the ocean.

The Studio Apartments are situated overlooking the swimming-pool. These too are very spacious rooms - approx 400 Sq Feet each. These rooms are designed like self contained studios. They have en-suite facilities with running hot & cold water, air-condition, Colour TV with satellite connection, wifi internet &, telephone. These rooms have operational kitchenette with cooking hub, microwave oven, tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster etc. Cooking pots and pans etc are also provided for. These rooms are situated by the poolside on the ground and first floor and also have a small balcony overlooking the pool.

Restaurant

Our Multi cuisine Restaurant Cum Bar overlooks the swimming pool. This well styled informal restaurant is the meeting point of all the guests staying at the resort. Being open on all the sides, it gives a feeling of vastness and openness. Its generally very airy here. The swimming-pool is situated on one side while the pool table is tucked in into the opposite side overlooking the bar making the whole setup interesting and informal.

We serve freshly cooked hygienic food and utmost care is taken to use the ‘in season’ ingredients. You could choose from Indian, European, Russian and Chinese Cuisines at Raj Resorts. Whatever be your taste, its never difficult at Raj Resorts to cater to it. We have perfected the art of fine dining adding our own special flavour to make your meal memorable. The well stocked bar is at your service !!

Vivek is a professional hotelier with 22 years of experience behind him. After graduating in hotel management from one of the best Hotel schools in the world,

Vivek has worked in various senior positions for some of the best known hotels in India and abroad. Having achieved pinnacles in his career at a young age, Vivek quit the corporate world at 31.That was in 1996. Raj Resorts too came up in the same year.
